Don't go, October;

Image
So far, October has been really good to me :) Now that the number of days of 2014 are decreasing, this shows that my time in Melbourne are the same too. Seriously don't want to leave this lovely place at all. It's too wonderful. Too many amazing memories. Even though I walked the same path everday, it still manage to surprise me in every ways. Sigh. 20141020 It's been a number of days since my mum wasn't around by my side. I have to stay strong! Went to the library to pick up my book from Flinder's library. Finally I got Miranda Kerr's Treasure Myself in my hands! Well, it kinda saddens me to see the prologue when she mentioned about her husband (ex husband) Orlando Bloom. They were so perfect together sigh. I seriously thought they could last. Well, gotta start flipping a few pages! & I was too excited checking out books but meh, every single time after I borrowed it, I wouldn't even bother to read. DAMN. Must change this freaking habit! Salon de Sushi | 20140916

Close up version. I still remember that day me and my friend were trying to hunt down a place to snack on and we passed by this place name Salon de Sushi. I swear I was extremely surprised when I stepped into this restaurant. I never would have expect such creative concept and it certainly got me interested right away. With such wide range of sushis on the shelves that are on display and also you can pick from the menu, looking at the word "sashimis" just made me hungry already. All you need to do is (1) grab one of the tray >  (2) pick the sushis (or even drinks!) that you desire from the shelf > (3) order if you want anything extra > (4) pay up :D Mine was the Salmon Complete box set. With all the different type of sushis and I can taste the freshness of the salmon yo. How can I not love this place. Anyway they do delivery as well! Will definitely drop by again if time allows. Till then xx.

What draws me back to the anime world? I think that was 4 days ago, when I was having a sleepover at my cousins' place. I was scrolling videos using JC's ipad and I have no idea why did I searched for Chobits opening theme song & the rest is what's going on right now.. We were having fun singing along to all the anime opening themes that we knew for more than 7 years ago and it goes on for almost an hour before we went to sleep HAHA Good old times :') Don't be surprised if I doesn't seem like that kind of girl. I used to have that anime craze phase when I was 14 maybe? All thanks to my cousins and mostly because of peer influence I guess? I was pretty close to my cousin brother and he will introduce me and the other cousins of the animes that are worth watching. Plus, the local national channel had quite a number of animes as well and I remember waking up early in the morning, just to catch up with all of the episodes LOL. Oh my goodness. Those were

When mum is around;

Been writing down memos on the days I spent with mum; I think it'll be pretty melancholy for myself to read though. Dear diary, My momma is finally here! Mother-daughter reunited after almost 8 months not seeing each other. Today is her third day in Melbourne and well, it wasn't the way I pictured everything would be. The weather was pretty bad during the weekdays though. So on that day itself which is Friday night, I went to the airport slowly anticipate her arrival and ngawww, she gave me a hug the second she saw me, but after that I was told to carry her bags LOL. Just like the old days ahahah. Actually everything was pretty much the same, I mean the topics hmm. 20141011 Yours truly with le mum x Just realized we had the same smile! Brought her to Mornington with the twins and uncle. Had quite some fun. The weather was really good. From Ashcombe Maze > Arthur's Seat Lookout Point > Dromana Foreshore Reserve > Point Nepean National Park. Mum collec

21st;

What's it like to be 21st? Today I woke up being a 21st but meh, I am still the same old lazy ass crawling out of the bed. I wasn't anticipating today's arrival. It's not like when you wake up being a 21st and you feel refreshed lolol. Having nonsense imagination.  I was pretty much afraid to grow a year older because I am one step closer to responsibility (not to say I don't take responsibility, by here I mean have to encounter more), one step closer to graduation, one step closer the actual REALITY. I know no one wants to deal with this sort of shit but sigh, if you get a chance to runaway, wouldn't you? One more thing, everyone has their 21st birthday a grand one, they had big parties, they had "key" that symbolizes freedom. But for me, well, I never had the guts to ask my mum to throw a party for me, plus I was sort of lucky that my mum was coincidentally around during this period of time because seriously, this wasn't really plan at all

You'll soon be able to find out what's up with the blog title. 20141006 1. First thing first, hello Monday! Yours truly did it again. Studying last minute but this time having the worse time of her life because I printed out my lecture notes too small within the margin and not just that, not being able to study the notes during the lecture due to minimal light exposure wtf hahahaha. KARMA 2. After the test, went to a cafe to chill and talk. So I suggested Raw Trader but it wasn't open on Monday so we went to Short Stop. It was pretty cosy and lovely interior deco! What caught my eyes were the doughnuts! Craving for sweet stuff and its affordable heh. So I ordered the Earl Gey & Rose. It was good! And when they were about to close the shop, they give away free doughnuts for us and i get to try the red velvet! I LOVE IT. But the guys don't. Pfft. 3. Skyped with le family! I can see that mum is excited too heh. Counting down in 4 more days :DDD. It's

 A cafe which locates the same row as Auction Rooms. Ah, North Melbourne has a lot of cafes and they're all just a few steps away from each other. This is another one that I have been wanting to try for long.  Sadly the mocha wasn't my type.  The chocolaty-o-meter for it is 3/10. I had to add two tablespoon of sugars though. But, for me, the highlight of this place is the Pancakes! They're to die for. It's really pretty to be eaten. Love how they stacked the pancakes and the amount of honey that they give is too generous seriously. I add on bacon as well for 4 dollars and it's worth it! Both sweet and savory craving satisfied. Not to mention the cream cheese that blend in well with the strawberries. It tasted like yogurt to me which is a good news for me as I am not a big fan of cheese either. Not to mention there's rhubarb hidden within the cream cheese too! Oh, I was so bloated after I was done with the dish.

October rants.

Image
Oh yay October. Welcome back to my weekly rants. Where you get all the waiyan's bullshit. 1. So on that Sunday (28/9) , I was told to work last minute at the Take-Away section and nope, I didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would. 2. Monday: Had a free screening pass to Gone Girl premiere (thank you Nuffnang!) at Village Cinemas, Jam Factory. Oh-so-tense movie starring Rosamund Pike, Ben Affleck and Neil Patrick Harris (who would have thought?). The ending of the movie is seriously so fucked-up LOL. As in the screenplay or the writer, which is Gillian Flynn, certainly did a good job on this. I swear everyone left the theatre speechless and stressful hahah. I guess I am one of the few pretty young audience there. Still, it's a good one! Thriller and twisted-endings lover must check it out! 3. I am officially a caffeine addict. I have to get at least a cup of mocha everyday. 4. Oh oh, I am so sorry to repeat this if you have followed me on social m
